Anya Volz is a New York City-based comic originally born in Vermont. A lot of men from America say her comedy is hilarious, yet not overly preached. She is a contributing writer as well as producer of material for Riot Fest, The Hard Times The Hard Times, and Macaulay culkin Bunny Ears. Her writing has appeared in BuzzFeed as well as Vulture. Anya Taylor-Joy is the half-English/half Spanish sister of Dennis Alan Taylor who was an executive at a bank in his prior career as well as Jennifer Marina Joy. Her father is an Argentinean of Scottish and English roots is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four of them come from her father's previous marriage. They moved with the family out of Buenos Aires to Victoria, London at the age of six when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy claims that her move was a very difficult experience. She was not willing to learn English and believed she would be able to return to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands and then Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. After dropping out at 16 she pursued an acting profession. Taylor-Joy has always known that she wanted to be an actress. She achieved this when Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management gave Taylor-Joy the opportunity of modeling.
