Anna Chlumsky

Lorraine Lorraine Anna AnnaAnna Chlumsky was a highly acclaimed American actor, who became famous with films like "My Girl" and the sequel "My Girl 2". Her main roles continued to entice audiences with films such as "Trading Mom" and "Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain". She won several awards for her performance on these movies early in her career. The young woman, who felt she was left out of her group at school, during film shoots, started to get alienated from the business of entertainment during her senior years. She was interested in acting but her interest in the business waned and she focused her attention on education. Aspiring to be an author of food reviews however, her best chance was an opportunity to be the fact-checker of Zagat guides to restaurants. She was miserable with her job as an assistant editor for HarperCollins. It was decided that she would return to acting. After following the advice of her agent, she was able to start over by enrolling in acting classes to sharpen her talents. After a short time, she was offered the role of Liza on 'In The Loop'. Soon afterwards she started appearing as a character in Off Broadway shows. While she is unsure of what might have happened if she had put off acting, it's something she is glad that she didn't.
